Ali’s Alliance Announces Chairs for Upcoming “Top Hats & Tea Cups” Event

Annual Haute Couture Floral Millinery Pageant Set for
April 27 at PGA National Resort

PALM BEACH GARDENS (January 31, 2014) Ali’s Alliance, Inc. the nation’s only comprehensive, searchable online database of Cancer Resources and Support for patients and caregivers, is pleased to announce the Chairs for their highly anticipated Haute Couture Floral Millinery Pageant fundraiser, Top Hats & Tea Cups. Kelly Seitz and Chris Collins are event Co-Chairs with David J. Cowan, Sr. and Todd Johnson as Honorary Chairs. Top Hats & Tea Cups takes place Sunday, April 27 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the PGA National Resort and Spa.

Honorary Chairmen David J. Cowan, Sr. and Todd Johnson have personal interests in Ali’s Alliance. David is the Founder and President of the non-profit, which is named in honor of his late wife, Alison Arnesen Cowan who died of cancer 11 months after her diagnosis. Todd Johnson, Financial Advisor with Evershore Financial Group, lost his mother to ovarian cancer and chose Ali’s Alliance as a perfect cause for which to channel his time and talents. He is actively engaged in sponsorships and fundraising for Top Hats & Tea Cups.

Kelly Seitz, active in theatre, public speaking & broadcasting since childhood, began her event management career in the music industry producing concerts for top touring acts, before venturing into hospitality management and finally branching out on her own. As a six year breast cancer survivor diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease at age 30, Ali’s Alliance is a perfect, personal cause for her. She and co-chair, Chris Collins have added special elements to the highly successful fundraiser, most notably, expanding beyond a female-centric event by allowing men to grace the stage in fashionable “top hats”.

The event will feature 15 cancer-survivors, along with their medical providers, modeling haute couture millinery creations designed by top florists throughout Palm Beach County. Along with the pageant will be silent auction, raffle and a 3-course tea pairing, provided by PGA National Resort and Spa. Tickets for the Top Hats and Tea Cups event are $60 per person, with children’s “princess” tickets at $50 each. Sponsorships are now available.
