Covering an average 100 plus mile course, riders can choose which route to take as they stop at predetermined locations to get a playing card. At the end of the run, holders of the best and worst hands will be awarded prizes, including the $500 grand prize.  There will be an additional award for the best fundraiser.

Riders will leave the Starting point at 30 sec intervals starting at 9:00 am and will have complete control over the route they travel.  The event will end amid much fanfare, music, food and prizes. There will be no Road Captains so it is strongly recommend that riders not gather in large groups while riding. The event organizers will recommend a route that is scenic in nature but participants need only present seven of the special playing cards, one from each of the programmed stops, to be eligible for prizes.

Alliance Fall Motorcycle Poker Run Fundraiser is the creation of Ali’s Alliance Founder and President David J. Cowan, Sr. who found solace in a cross-country motorcycle trip after losing his wife, Alison to cancer at age 45. Following her passing after an exhausting, 11-month battle, David realized that there was an opportunity to provide a centralized resource center to reduce the time, energy and anxiety of finding information and support. This became Ali’s Alliance, which is the first comprehensive database of its kind for cancer patients and their caregivers.
